On June 23, Li Auto officially launched its all-new flagship five-seat SUV, the Li L8, positioning it as a major upgrade in both driving dynamics and luxury family mobility. The model is offered in two trims—Ultra and Livis—with prices of RMB 369,800 and RMB 429,800 respectively. Early buyers placing orders before July 6, 2026, benefit from limited-time incentives, reducing entry prices to RMB 359,800 and RMB 419,800.
At the launch event, Li Auto CEO Li Xiang highlighted the vehicle’s performance breakthrough by showcasing a high-speed double lane-change test at 135 km/h, emphasizing the brand’s new focus on handling. The company stated that the L8 aims to break the long-standing trade-off between comfort and driving pleasure in large SUVs.

Built on a newly developed full-stack self-researched chassis architecture, the L8 introduces two distinct technical paths. The Ultra version features a “magic carpet” chassis with dual-chamber air suspension, steer-by-wire, and rear-wheel steering, delivering exceptional ride comfort and urban agility with a turning radius of just 5.1 meters.
The Livis version pushes performance further, adopting an 800V active suspension system and full wire-controlled chassis including electronic mechanical braking. It significantly reduces body roll and enhances stability, even in off-road and track-like conditions.

Both versions share a redesigned five-seat layout optimized for space, featuring zero-gravity seats, advanced infotainment powered by Qualcomm 8797 chips, and a premium 27-speaker audio system. The vehicle also supports 5C ultra-fast charging, offering up to 430 km of CLTC electric range and 10–80% charge in about 10 minutes.
Li Auto emphasizes continuous OTA upgrades, including upcoming terrain-leveling “Smooth Road Mode,” reinforcing its strategy of software-defined vehicle evolution.

Overall, the Li L8 marks a strategic shift for Li Auto toward combining family comfort, luxury experience, and high-performance driving in a single flagship SUV.
