Foton Carven is shifting the conversation around new energy commercial vehicles from specification competition to real-world performance. During the first half of 2026, the brand conducted scenario-based validation tests across Sichuan-Chongqing, Guangdong, and Guangxi, covering urban freight, cold-chain logistics, and passenger transport.

For freight operations in the mountainous Sichuan-Chongqing region, the Carven LeFu blind-window van demonstrated strong performance under demanding conditions, combining a 125 kW electric drive, up to 2,750 N·m of wheel-end torque, and a maximum climbing capability of 27°. Its low energy consumption and multiple range options further support high-frequency urban distribution.

In Guangdong, the refrigerated version was tested under hot and humid conditions, with a low vehicle height and optimized refrigeration system designed to improve accessibility in underground garages and older urban areas. A real-world test involving more than 210 boxes of pastries over 250 km reportedly achieved stable temperature control with zero cargo damage. In Guangxi, the passenger version focused on comfort, safety, and long-distance operating efficiency, featuring flexible seating layouts, rear air conditioning, ESC, TCS, and VDC.

These tests highlight a broader industry trend: commercial EV competitiveness is increasingly being measured by scenario adaptability, operating efficiency, safety, and total user value—not specifications alone.
